Here’s a helpful article and short sequence from Yoga U Online about the benefits of Cat/Cow pose. I teach this pose regularly in class and have found it relieves back ache. Judith Lasater recommends this pose, and variations on it, in her chapter on Back Pain in the book ‘Yoga as Medicine’ by Timothy McCall. It’s wonderful to have so much helpful information out there for us – we have to get hold of it……and use it.
